Aurelia (“Aurelia”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a client application designed to connect to compatible Jellyfin servers and provide a user interface for browsing and playing media from those servers.

Usage Terms & Warranty

Aurelia is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Aurelia and its developers assume no liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from the use of, or inability to use, the application, including:

• Software bugs, crashes, or unexpected behavior.
• Loss, corruption, or unavailability of application data.
• Playback interruptions, downloads, or offline media issues.
• Device malfunction, battery drain, storage usage, or hardware-related faults.
• Network interruptions or failures of connected services.

While reasonable efforts are made to provide a reliable experience, we do not guarantee that Aurelia will always operate without interruption, errors, or compatibility issues.

Users are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of any important data and media stored on their devices or connected servers.

Jellyfin & Media Content

Aurelia is a client application for Jellyfin. It does not host, provide, distribute, or license media content.

Aurelia does not control the content, configuration, availability, or operation of any Jellyfin server that you choose to connect to.

• You are solely responsible for the media and other content accessible through your connected Jellyfin server.
• You are responsible for ensuring that your use of any media complies with applicable copyright, intellectual property, and other laws.
• Aurelia does not endorse or authorize unauthorized copying, distribution, or use of copyrighted material.
• Any downloads or offline copies made through Aurelia are subject to the permissions, configuration, and applicable policies of the connected server and the user’s legal rights.

Third-Party Services

Aurelia may communicate with Jellyfin servers and other third-party services to provide features such as authentication, Quick Connect, metadata retrieval, artwork, networking, or media playback.

• We do not guarantee the availability, accuracy, completeness, or continued operation of third-party services.
• Third-party integrations do not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or formal partnership.
• Third-party services are governed by their own terms of service, privacy policies, and applicable licenses.
• The developers of Aurelia do not own, operate, or control third-party services or the content they provide.

Your use of any third-party service through or in connection with Aurelia remains subject to that service’s applicable terms and policies.

User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of Aurelia, your connected Jellyfin server, and any media accessed through the application complies with all applicable local, national, and international laws.

This includes laws relating to copyright, intellectual property, privacy, media distribution, and unauthorized access.

The developers of Aurelia expressly disclaim responsibility for unlawful, unauthorized, or improper use of the application or any connected service.

Changes to This Disclaimer

We reserve the right to revise this disclaimer from time to time to reflect changes to Aurelia, its features, technical requirements, or applicable legal requirements.

Any updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of Aurelia following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised disclaimer to the extent permitted by applicable law.
