About CodeNest Duo
CodeNest Duo is a hobby project run by two brothers who enjoy building software together.
We create applications around things we find interesting, focusing on technology, software, and the small details that make tools enjoyable to use.
There is no underlying company or large team behind CodeNest Duo. It is just the two of us building things in our spare time.
What We Build
Our projects stem from ideas we find useful or compelling. While we primarily explore Android development, we are open to any software project that catches our interest.
Alauna
Alauna is a local music player focused on offline listening, powerful playback, synchronized lyrics, visualizers, playlists, and complete control over your library.
Aurelia
A native Jellyfin client for Android focused on a polished interface, smooth playback, offline downloads, and easy access to personal media libraries.
Aurelia TV
A dedicated TV client built for Android TV and large screens. It shares the core foundation of Aurelia with an interface tailored specifically for remote controls and TV hardware.
Why We Build
Most of our projects start with a simple question:
“Wouldn't it be nice if this worked this way?”
Sometimes that thought leads to an idea, which leads to a prototype, and eventually into a working application after plenty of coding.
We build because we enjoy the process of designing interfaces, solving technical problems, and creating software we are happy to use ourselves.
A Work in Progress
CodeNest Duo is a hobby, so development happens alongside our daily lives. Some projects move quickly while others take time.
Features change, experiments happen, and not every idea makes it to release. That is part of the process. We simply focus on building things we find interesting and sharing what works.
Thanks for stopping by.
